Our Campuses
HOW PFS WORKS
Westridge School proudly hosts girls for their first two summers in the program, while boys of the same age attend the program at Chandler School. After these two summers of single-sex education, the students attend Mayfield Junior School in the summers before seventh and eighth grades. During and immediately after high school, students spend their summers at Polytechnic School. At each site, students learn from creative, experienced teachers from both the public and private school partners. Alumni of Partnership for Success and students and alumni from the independent school partners are eligible to work as paid teaching interns in the program for up to two summers. These interns work alongside the teachers in classrooms with an average of 16 students, providing one-on-one support and serving as role models for the students.

Dr. Vicki Garrett
Westridge School, Upper School Spanish and World Languages and Cultures Department Chair
Site Director
Dr. Vicki Garrett serves as Upper School Spanish Teacher and chair of the World Languages and Cultures department. Before joining Westridge, she spent 15 years teaching Spanish and Latin American studies at various public universities, where she developed a deep appreciation for equity-focused, supportive programs like PFS that help students thrive as they pursue their studies. When she became a parent, her interest increased in integrating positive identity development, social-emotional learning, and interpersonal communication skills in her work as an educator.
